KEVIN HAYS RETURNS AS FACAP’S GUEST SPEAKER AT THE MAY MEETING

Join Kevin and the FACAP board on May 30, 2019 for the general meeting at Palm Beach County Fire Rescue from 9-12pm. Kevin will be presenting on the topic of Fire and Explosions Involving Fuel Gas Systems, along with Brandon Ball, Bureau of Fire, Arson, and Explosives Investigations. Two hours of educational credits will be submitted for approval upon attendance. We look forward to seeing some new and familiar faces!

UPCOMING EVENT: FIFEC CONFERENCE AT THE CARIBE ROYALE ORLANDO, JUNE 6-8TH

Stop by our booth at the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee Annual Conference at the Caribe Royale next month. This continues to be one of Orlando’s best Insurance Conferences each year. The KHFC team is excited to be part of it once again. We hope to see you there!

KHFC EXHIBITS AT THE OCA COOKOFF & PLRB IN APRIL

The KHFC team was honored to exhibit at the OCA Cookoff at the Hilton/Orlando Altamonte Springs, as well as the PLRB Conference at the Orlando World Center Marriott. We had the chance to meet some amazing people and learned a lot! Thank you to all who stopped by our booths and if you missed us, we hope to catch you in the future at similar events.

Congratulations to Andy Redding on becoming a Certified Marine Investigator!

The KHFC team applauds our very own Andy Redding on passing his Certified Marine Investigator Exam in Norfolk, Virginia last month. Andy spent March 11th-14th at IAMI’s 28th Annual Training Seminar, working hard to achieve this. KHFC Hosts Fire Lab: Burn & Learn for Free CE Credits!

The KHFC Team would like to thank everyone who attended the Burn & Learn event on 11/9/17 at our facility! We had the opportunity to share a classroom presentation, live demonstrations of actual fire scenarios and a BBQ lunch, all for (4) Free CE Credits for adjusters. Be on the lookout for more events like this hosted by KHFC.

Andy Redding & Stephen Dollar receive Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI) Certification

Last week, from September 18th-21st, our Fire Investigators, Andy Redding and Stephen Dollar had the privilege of attending the NAFI-Sponsored CVFI Course in Lexington, Kentucky. This 36-hour course increased their knowledge and skills for investigating fires and explosions in motor vehicles. We are proud to share their success in completing this certification!

Kevin Hays – Guest Speaker at FACAP’s August Meeting

On 8/24/2017 In Tampa, hosted by Homeowners Choice Property & Casualty Insurance, the FACAP Board held their August Meeting and Kevin had the opportunity to be the Guest Speaker. Two hours of optional Continuing Education Credits were offered for the class titled: Fires Involving Gas Systems and CSST.

Kevin B. Hays Fire Consulting’s Presentation at Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig, LLP

After being invited to speak at Butler’s legal office, Kevin had the pleasure of visiting the office in Downtown Tampa on June 15, 2017, where he educated some of the firm on basic fire investigations. A big thank you to their office for making this happen!
